Gustaf, I'm sorry for misspelling your name. That is the third time I have made that typo. The fact that I have kept track hopefully indicates the level of respect I do have for you and your work! I truly believe xotcl/xowiki is playing a large part in reviving the OpenACS project.
Thanks for the suggestions about where to place the tcl package/module installs etc. I'll make sure they make it into the docs shortly.
fwiw, I meant "criticism" in its most positive light. I did not intend to suggest you were "critical" of the docs, nor were your comments taken personally.
The engineering docs *do* need some experts' attention to update the details to be consistent with the current OpenACS kernel.
I rambled in this thread largely to avert yet another thread that discusses the goals of the documentation and instead, focus on building a consensus on how to reach the existing goals/requirements.
