I still seem to be getting two emails for every posting in the Q&A section.

I've tried unregistering for notifs and so on, but no joy?

Any ideas?

Simon,

I had the same problem.  Turns out I had changed my email address on the old site at the "wrong" time and I had two accounts at the new site.  My old account had the notifications turned on.

I am now getting 0 copies of bboard postings. I was not making any changes during the transition period but the last email I got from the OACS bboard was the "No posting for the next 40 minutes" one. Looking at my bboard alerts I seem to have alerts set for daily - even though I had instant alerts from the old site. Where did the user data for the new site come from? And why don't daily alerts seem to work?
