Malte,

My language settings contained @ so I unset it:

[oracle@swissnet oracle]$ echo $LANG
fi_FI@euro
[oracle@swissnet oracle]$ unset LANG
[oracle@swissnet oracle]$ echo $LANG

[oracle@swissnet oracle]$
It didn't change the behaviour of the install script, though.
