Hi,

I have a subsite with a child cr_folder, which in turn has several cr_items within that folder.

Can the search package be used to search only specific cr_items within that folder?

I know I can provide the package id to search, but I only want the search to look at a few content items, not all the
packages beneath the subsite.

Is this possible?

This is possible but not simple.

Right now you'd probably need to write a custom query based on whatever search engine you are using.

I developed a more flexible search driver callback interface that can build more complex queries. I'll dig that up and make it available.

I posted a TIP including the new search procedures I used. They might need to be merged with changed in OpenACS in CVS head. I think its based on OpenACS 5.4.
