From my testing today, triggers and, I assume, indices, still do not get passed on.
It looks to me like the 2nd issue has been cleared up. I'm looking at a Postgres 7.1.3 database and an "insert into acs_user" followed by "select * from acs_object" shows the row I just inserted.
