Hi All,

Are there any UK users of openACS out there, either commercially or hobby? I'm based in the South West (Bath) and am using OACS for a few non-profit websites. I'd be interested in meeting up with anybody around here, or chatting development 😊

We're long time users of OpenACS... :), and remain extremely enthusiastic about it. There are a few acs people in the area in actual fact.

Drop me a mail sometime, having OpenACS people around is always good news for us. Are you an IT professional? If so I'd like to hear a bit more about your skills and background as well.

We use OACS internally to support our customers retail systems. We also have a couple of ecommerce sites such as http://www.fancydress.com and I dabble from home.

We're based at Enderby in Leicestershire (M1 J21).

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for people who use OpenACS based in the UK. Unfortunately we missed out on the conference in Vienna and would like to do some knowledge share in the UK or maybe another accessible location (budget flights?!)?

It would be great to meet up with other people, best of all on-site to see how other companies/institutions work with OpenACS in production and development.

Do you think it would work best if we setup some form of agenda?

What would we all like to discuss?

We're quite intersted in operational management of the system as it isn't something we have spent enough time looking at.
