Hi,

We are working on the release of ]po[ V3.4 for the 31st of October 2009. In the press material of this release we would like to include a list of all people who have somehow contributed to ]po[. We will distribute this material to some ~100 online and offline magazines in the world.

Obviously, this document needs to include all important OpenACS contributors. We plan to publish a short bio for every person, a photo and a Web link.

If you want to participate I would invite you to:

- Go to http://www.project-open.org/ and register (no approval necessary),
- upload a photo (max. 300x200),
- choose a URL and
- write your short biography in the "About you" field.

For the short bio please include a paragraph about you and your education background, and a 2nd paragraph about your contributions to OpenACS/]po[.

Please let me know if you also want to setup a "partner" page about yourself or your company in the ]po[ Wiki, we've got some ~25.000 distinct users looking at it every month.

Hi,

Jade Rubick has suggested to me to publish the list of "people behind" here on OpenACS. This list converted into HTML (maybe without the specific ]po[ contributors) could replace the /about/team page which is basically empty.

I've got some 20 short Bios at the moment, 10 of them pure OpenACs contributors. Here is the current version:
